Made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, harvested and fermented separately. Aged in 25 hl French oak barrels and then in the bottle for at least one year. A deep ruby red in colour, with a fruity aroma containing subtle hints of spice and liquorice; good body, structure and tannins. Perfect with roasts and red meats, noble poultry, wild game or aged cheese.

How it’s madea classic Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are harvested and fermented separately due to their different ripening dates, blended cold in winter. The wine is then aged in French oak (in 25 hl barrels) before bottling and ageing in the cellar.

Sensory qualities: a deep ruby red, with a fruity bouquet containing subtle hints of spice and liquorice. Good body, structure and tannins.

Food pairings: a wine to enjoy with roasts and red meats, noble poultry, wild game or aged cheese. Uncork in advance and serve at 18° in large glasses.
